The Story Behind

Sarah’s Gluten Free Goods

Owner, Baker, Dessert Lover

Hi everyone! That’s me Sarah and I am the owner and founder of Sarah’s Gluten Free Goods!

In 2012, after seeing 15 different types of doctors, 4 surgeries, and many various treatments over the years, I finally met a doctor that told me that the inflammation in my body was due to gluten. At the time, I only knew about Celiac disease and didn’t realize there were other types of food intolerances.

I cried into my box of Cheez-It’s on the way home and took the leap of faith to go completely gluten free the next day and I have never gone back to eaten gluten. Along the way, I have also come to realize other food allergies in myself such as dairy, corn and oats (among others). I’m REALLY fun to have at a dinner party. Just kidding. If I’m invited to a dinner party, I’m usually there with my precooked meal I made at home in my own tupperware. IYKYK.

I started learning how to bake gluten free in 2020 to provide something for myself that I could not find at coffee shops and grocery stores. I was sad when I would go to a coffee shop and there would not be a safe alternative for me to enjoy with my tea. And I also find that most gluten free products are in the freezer section and I don’t know about you, but I missed just having a fresh muffin right out of the oven. There are many more gluten free products available now, but there are only a select few that do not include corn or oat based ingredients.

Over the past few years, I have started sharing my baked goods with family and friends and have found so much joy in seeing people’s faces light up when they eat something gluten free that ACTUALLY tastes good! AND is safe for their food allergies or intolerances.

I am so excited to bring gluten, dairy, nut, and corn free desserts to my community and I also offer Vegan options as well. At the end of the day, I want to send you home with something that makes your heart smile and your tummy happy.

Right now, I operate out of my residence as a cottage kitchen bakery and my kitchen is a dedicated gluten free space. I offer local pickup options in Westfield, Massachusetts and also offer delivery to Agawam, Springfield, Feeding Hills, and other local areas.

My mission is to make sure you don’t feel left out anymore as someone with allergies.

You are always welcome at my table.

You can eat with us.

At the farmer’s markets, you’ll definitely always see me under the tent but you might also meet my amazing husband Kolton. He will vouch for the deliciousness of the treats, as he is the taste tester hehe.

We have three wonderful pets. 2 cats named Remi & Ollie and a dog named Burt. They are all very interested in the business. Remi is seen here making sure the banner is the right size ;)
